Baklava Bars

| Ingredients
Makes 9-12 bars
1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 almond meal
1/4 almond butter
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
Dash of salt
2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
2 Tsp Coconut Flour
Dash of cinnamon
1 Tsp vanilla extract
| Preparation
*Finely chop all the nuts. ( I put them in a food processor to chop)
*In a skillet, add Coconut Oil, Almond Flour and salt on medium low heat. Lightly toast and then add honey (or maple syrup). As soon as the honey starts to bubble, remove from heat and set aside the pan for 5 minutes.
*Transfer but mixture to a mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix to combine. Pour into an 8x8 pan. Spread and flatten in pan. Store in fridge for at least 30 minutes before cutting and serving. Remaining bars, leave in the fridge.
